Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,
The staff and governors welcome you and your child to Rachel McMillan Nursery School and Children’s Centre. We would like to work in partnership with you to help your child to become a confident and independent learner.
We believe very strongly that children learn best by playing. We plan our curriculum to provide challenges that stimulate their interest and follow their passions.
Our nursery has been part of the Deptford community for nearly a hundred years. Our founder, Margaret McMillan, a pioneer of early childhood education, strongly valued working closely with parents. We carry on this tradition today.
We are a confident, forward looking, 21st century nursery and look forward to working closely with you to make your children’s time here a happy and productive one.
